Zouk Rhein-Main-Neckar e.V. organizes Zouk events with national and international artists. The following conditions apply to tickets purchased on this website:

Discounted Tickets for Association Members

Members contribute to the financial stability and predictability of the association through their annual dues. In return, they enjoy two benefits:

• Association members have priority in purchasing tickets before external individuals, especially for popular and quickly sold-out events.
• Members can purchase tickets for many events at a significantly discounted price.

Tickets for association members may only be booked by members and are not valid for non-members. These tickets are clearly marked with the designation “Association Members” in the ticket name and are additionally protected by a password, which is communicated to the members. If an external person gains knowledge of the password or bypasses the password protection to purchase a ticket for association members, the ticket is not valid without obtaining association membership and paying the membership fee. In such cases, the association reserves the right to exclude the owner of the erroneously acquired ticket from future events.

Ticket Control

Tickets are sent to participants via email after successful purchase. Participants must present the QR code on the ticket for control at the entrance, along with an official photo ID (e.g., ID card, passport). This can be done by printing the ticket or showing it on the smartphone if the display size is sufficient.

Cancellation Policy for Online Event Sales

Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day of concluding the contract.

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
If the purchase and the event are less than two weeks apart, you expressly waive your right of withdrawal according to § 312g para. 2 No. 9 BGB. In this case, there is no right of withdrawal.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([your company/name, address, and contact information]) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post or email).

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you immediately and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive notice of your withdrawal from this contract.

Cancellation of Tickets and Name Changes

In addition to the right of withdrawal, you have the option to cancel tickets or make a name change under the following conditions:

If a ticket is canceled more than three weeks before the event, cancellation fees amounting to 25% of the ticket price apply.

For cancellations between three and one week, 50% of the ticket price is charged as a cancellation fee.

Cancellation less than one week before the event incurs a 100% cancellation fee of the ticket price.

Upon consultation with the association’s board, the ticket can be resold in the respective price category and participant role (lead or follow). We often have a waiting list of participants who have not yet been able to purchase a ticket, and we would like to offer them the opportunity to buy a ticket first.

Selling the ticket without consulting the association’s board renders the ticket invalid as it is tied to the buyer’s name. The association reserves the right to exclude the ticket seller from future events.

The ticket may only be resold at the price it was purchased. An increased resale value of the ticket results in the seller being excluded from purchasing future tickets.

We understand that unexpected events can happen and unforeseen circumstances may arise. However, as a non-profit association, we aim to break even and organize a pleasant event with a positive experience for all participants. This includes maintaining a balanced ratio of leaders and followers.

In individual cases, the association’s board reserves the right to deviate from these cancellation conditions in favor of the ticket buyer, such as transferring the ticket to another event.
